COVID-19 Updates

Words from The Pastor

I love you Union Hill.  This is my first time addressing you using this medium.  I believe that it is imperative that I address you at this time relative to the challenges that we face on a global sphere that affects us right here at 1104 Taylor Store Road.

I’m  sure you as I am concerned about the rampant spread of the virus known as COVID-19 or Coronavirus; however, I encourage you not to panic nor be fearful. Being informed is better than being fearful. Remember the God we serve is not the author of fear and if He is not the author of fear guess who is, the devil himself.

The Coronavirus is spread just like a cold.  Cough without covering your mouth, the droplets land on a person, doorknob, tabletop, etc. It starts with a cough, fever, runny nose, but around day five you start getting shortness of breath.  The shortness of breath makes this virus different from a cold or flu.

Please cover your face when you cough or sneezewash your hands frequently for at least 20 seconds with soap and water or alcohol-based hand sanitizer.  Be sure to wash hands after, handling food or using bathroom.  Clean and disinfect frequently used surfaces, i.e. Phones, keyboards, light switches.  Avoid touching your eyes, nose or mouth.

We’ve tried to supply you with an ample amount of hand sanitizers and wipes throughout the church.  We encourage you to continue to pray asking and trusting God for deliverance.

Blessings,

Pastor Dunston
